What is AUS 40?

AUS 40 (Aqueous Urea Solution 40%) is a ready-to-use solution containing 40% high-purity urea dissolved in demineralized water. When injected into the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system, AUS 40 reacts with nitrogen oxides present in exhaust gases, converting harmful pollutants into harmless nitrogen and water vapor before they are released into the atmosphere. This technology plays a critical role in helping marine operators meet global environmental regulations while improving overall sustainability.
